Realme is one of the best companies that offers good budget-friendly smartphones to its customers. Realme has added another new budget-friendly smartphone to its budget-friendly phone list, the Realme P3.
The goal of this phone is to offer high-end looks and solid performance at a price that regular people can afford. The Realme P3 smartphone is very good for daily use. It comes with a new design, an upgraded processor, and a large battery. Let’s see how much this phone will satisfy Realme fans and customers. Now, let’s take a look at its specs and cons.
Design and Build Quality
In terms of design, realme has a very premium look and stylish design. The Realme P3 is no exception in that regard, with a very good look and slim and stylish design. When you first see this, it’s hard to believe it’s a budget phone, it looks so premium.
It is currently available in three different colours.
- Space silver
- Nebula pink
- Comet gray

The phone looks like a metal frame body, but with a complete plastic body, it feels like a very premium phone when held in the hand. In terms of weight, it is very light even though it comes with a 6000 mAh battery. In a way, in the recent past, all phones that come with a 6000 mAh battery are very heavy.
Display
The display is very rugged with a 6.67″ FHD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It comes with an IP69 rating, so there is no fear of the phone getting wet and damaged when you go out in the rain. In fact, no company in this price range offers an AMOLED display. For example, if you look at the Vivo T4x and IQ Z10s smartphones, they just come with an LCD display.
Realme p3 comes with 2000nits peak brightness, but if you go outside in the summer, the display doesn’t seem that bright.
Color reproduction is decent for an LCD—vivid but not oversaturated. While it doesn’t match the deep blacks and punchy contrast of an AMOLED display, the viewing angles are solid, and the screen gets bright enough for outdoor use. The display is protected by Dragontrail Pro glass, which should offer reasonable scratch resistance in everyday use.
Performance
The Realme P3 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. In day-to-day use, the phone feels snappy and responsive.
Actually, no other phone in this budget has a Snapdragon 6 processor. This is a new processor. This phone is the first to be launched in India.

For most users—students, working professionals, and social media enthusiasts—the Realme P3 delivers more than enough horsepower for daily tasks.App loading times are quick, multitasking is smooth, and even casual gaming poses no problem. Titles like Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile run well on medium to high settings without noticeable lag or overheating.
This processor is expected to offer similar performance to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
The main advantage of this phone is that it comes with bypass charging support. Bypass charging means that if we play games while charging, the power goes directly to the motherboard components instead of the battery. This will not cause any major battery health and heating problems.
Camera
Talking about the camera, it’s not bad in this price range, but I think it would have been better if it had been upgraded a bit more.
- 50mp+2mp Rear camera
- 16mp front camera
- 4k 30fps video recording back camera
- 1080 hd video recording in front camera
- Video recording does not support OIS
Battery Life
One of the Realme P3’s standout features is its massive 6000mAh battery. the phone easily lasts a full day and a half on moderate use. Even with heavy usage—watching videos, gaming, and constant messaging—you’ll rarely need to charge it before the end of the day.
When you do need to recharge, the 45W SuperVOOC fast charging comes to the rescue. The charger included in the box takes the phone from 0 to 50% in around 25 minutes and a full charge in just under an hour.
Connectivity and Extras
The Realme P3 includes dual 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes with dual stereo speakers and the sound quality is good, but there is no Dolby support.
It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, unlocks the screen very quickly, and has a very smooth performance feel.
